Sewing Room Re-Design - Progress

Since I am wrapping up my etsy shop (only 5 more orders, whoohoo!!), I am making more time for not only my sweet family, but also for my hobbies.  I am trying to focus on the people and things that make me happy.  Anyway!  I have a list a mile long of what I want to do with my sewing room.  I have a few things already in the works...including a rockin' new cutting table and gorgeous chandelier.



Saturday, my awesome husband started putting together my DIY cutting table.  Here is the progress so far....it is so wonderful, words just cannot describe.  It has TONS of storage and is the perfect height for me.  This idea is definitely not my own, but one I found on Pinterest!!  View details here on how to make your own.  I still have to get the plywood for the top, then it will be finished...and on to filling it up!

Plans for this Saturday include installing my chandelier, finishing/hanging my curtains, and painting my sewing desk a beautiful plummy purple.  Needless to say, I can't wait for this weekend :o)
